BDO's Financial Services Advisory team provides consultative problem solving together with core regulatory, governance, internal audit and risk management services to meet the needs of your business. The BDO team combines skills and experience from industry and regulatory backgrounds, providing robust and proportionate advice to clients.
Provide advice on regulatory change and implementation projects including the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR), PSD II, financial crime & prudential regulatory requirements (including ICAAPs & ILAAPs). Experience ranges from providing applications and authorisation support, to supporting clients as a retained regulatory service.
BDO has been appointed to the Panel in respect of Skilled Person Lots A to J. The team have the experience and capability to undertake the review to a high standard. The BDO team also provide expertise and support when firms are being requested by the regulator to take voluntary action in respect of a firm’s core business areas or critical support functions (including VREQs).
Authorisations team provides tailored assistance with regulatory applications, as well as applications for approval of individuals, variations of permission, changes in controller and waivers. Assist with the consutruction of the application pack, all associated forms and relevant documents and can help with any Regulator queries.
Provide calculations of regulatory requirements within management reporting packs, assist with completion of financial regulatory reports and supporting calculations required under BIPRU and IPRU (INV), and complete regulatory returns for CRD IV, CRD V and CRD for investment firms
