Operating Model Review for Tier 1 Bank
Complete review of a divisional operating model resulted in the introduction of fundamental changes across business activities and reporting lines. The outcome of the review led to the decision to outsource certain functions. The review, commissioned by top-level senior management, delivered significant commercial benefits, increased transparency and improved management oversight of operating and regulatory risks.
Redesign of Operating Model for Large European Pension Fund
Following the introdution of mandatory clearing of OTC derivatives, a redesign of the operating model for large European pension fund was commissioned. The assignment involved changes to the trade booking regime, downstream processes as well as liaising with third-party asset managers and custodians. Deliverables included changes to the trade reporting regime and assisting with remodelling of the Treasury model to reflect the liquidity requirements of the Central Counterparty Clearing (CCP) environment for both cash and non-cash collateral.
Design Market Infrastructure in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
Design of new market models - worked with all market infrastructure stakeholders (Regulator, Exchange, Central Bank, Clearing House, Custodians, local brokers). Introduced components from developed markets. Covered the design of the end-to-end business model, regulatory engagement and presentations to management.
